Dear Customer;

The enclosed is a complete description of the file which the Assessor of Property has made available to you. The information following the file layout, are tables that describe fields that contain codes. The file is stored in a self-extracting archive file called AssessorExtract.EXE. To extract this file, run the program by double clicking it in windows explorer or by typing the name and pressing enter at the DOS prompt. Once extracted, this file will require about 300mb of hard drive space. Below is a name and brief description of each file.

AssessorExtractMaster.txt = General Parcel Information – This file contains basic property information, owner information, descriptions, sales information, total land value, building value, appraisal, and assessment.

There were other files displaying improvement records. As we add those, we will update this document to explain those as well.

There are tables listed below the record layout that describe some of the codes on the file. Please let me know if you see any problems with these codes.

If I can be of any further assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Sincerely,

David Murphy
